BIOGRAPHY OF KWAME MENSAH(AKA OSCAR KESSIE)
                    
        KWAME MENSAH aka OSCAR KESSIE was born in 24th July, 1955 to Obaapanin Akosua Baba Safori of Denkyira Agona Gyadua Pomaase family of Jukwa. His mother Obaapanyin Akosua Baba Safori being the only sister of the late Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III Denkyirahene, traces her ancestry from Nana Kojo Tibu Il who was the Denkyirahene from 1919 – 1930. Indeed, Kwame Mensah traces his ancestry right from Nana Yaa Mbrah. Nana Yaa Mbrah gave birth to Nana Aniwaa, Nana Yaa Dapim and Nana Amoaa.
Nana Amoaa gave birth to Nana Abena Yaa and Nana Saara as well as Nana Kwabena Yamoah who later became Nana Kojo Tsibu II, Denkyirahene.



Nana Saara I, Denkyirahemaa jointly ruled with her brother, Nana Kojo Tsibu II. Nana Abena Yaa gave birth to Nana Abena Tweneboa who also gave birth to Kwame Mensah who became Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III, Denkyirahene and Akosua Baba Safori, who gave birth to Kwame Mensah a.k.a Oscar Kessie and others including Maame Wonkyima who has later become Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III the current Denkyirahemaa.
Kwame Mensah has his Elementary School Certificate at Jukwa Local Authority Middle School in 1971; in the same year Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III his uncle sent him to Dunkwa Secondary School at Dunkwa-On-Offin and completed in 1976. Kwame Mensah joined Odeefuo when he was the president of the Central Regional House of Chiefs and did his Advanced Level Certificate in 1979 at Cape Coast Workers College.
Kwame Mensah, later studied for certificate in Journalism and Marketing at the School of Journalism in 1982, Accra. He holds both Certificate and Honoury Degree from University of Rhode Island, US in Leadership and Sustainable Fisheries. And a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Management Option) and currently pursuing Master of Arts in Chieftaincy Affairs with City University, Cambodia through Distance Education.
He is a member of the Institute of Certified Business Analysts and Consultants and Project Management Professionals, Ghana respectively after satisfying both academic and professional requirements.



In 2002 Kwame was managing Osthena Fishing Company Limited, an Industrial Fishing Trawling Company and alongside appointed the Managing Director of Nasaaa Fishing Company Limited . These companies had outlets in three (3) regions creating jobs for over 2000 people in the various districts and communities.
As a Business Consultant, Kwame thought it wise to contribute his quota towards the development of his communities by creating jobs opportunities for the people of Lower Denkyira. He established three (3) different businesses, namely Bankam Guest House, which is providing hospitality services to the people of Lower Denkyira, especially Jukwa; Osfresh Drinking Water serving the people of Jukwa and beyond with good and hygienic clean drinking sachet water; and a Bankam Radio/Fm Station (95.1mhz) which has made information dissemination very accessible to the local communities.
Kwame Mensah is also a retired Elder in his church, Christ Apostolic Church International (C. A. C. I) Odorkor Assembly and sit on a lot of boards and institutions.
